Put your seed, fertiliser, chemicals and tools on the AsaaseYaa market, and rent out tractors, sprayers and pumps with rules that protect you and the farmer.
What you get
The green tick
Send your business registration and a photo of your shop. Once our team has checked who runs it, your shop shows a tick, so farmers know you are real.
Boost when you need to sell
Put a listing at the top of the market in your area for a few days, for a small fee paid by Mobile Money.
Tractors go out with your driver
Tractors, tillers, harvesters and planters are only hired with your driver, by the acre, day or hour. The machine never leaves your hands.
Sprayers and pumps with a deposit
Every renter passes a Ghana Card check. The deposit is set by their record: new renters pay the full value of the item, renters with good ratings pay less.
Tested together, paid on time
You and the renter test the item together at pick-up and return, in the app. AsaaseYaa holds the rent and the deposit, and pays you by Mobile Money when the job is done. You can only claim for damage that was not there at pick-up.
How we start

- 2. List what you haveA photo, a price and the unit: a bag, a litre, a day or an acre. To rent out equipment, pass the Ghana Card check once and add your Mobile Money number for payouts.
- 3. Get the tickSend your registration and a shop photo from the app. Our team checks it and you see the answer in the app.
- 4. Answer farmersFarmers call or WhatsApp you about goods. Rental requests come to you in the app to accept or decline within a day.

- Answering requests within a day and turning up on the agreed day
What does it cost?
Listing and selling goods is free; you deal with the farmer directly. For rentals, AsaaseYaa adds a 10% service fee on top of your price, paid by the renter, so you receive your full price. The tick and boosts have a small fee shown in the app.
What if a renter damages my sprayer or pump?
Within 24 hours of the return check you can claim from the deposit for anything that worked at pick-up and failed at return, with photos. If the renter disagrees, our team decides from the two checks you both recorded.
What if I cannot make a booking?
Cancel in the app as early as you can; the farmer is refunded in full. Cancelling a paid booking or not turning up counts as a strike, and three strikes in six months take your rental listings down.
Who decides the deposit?
The app, from the replacement value you enter and the renter’s record. It is never more than the value of the item.
